Why Kendall Jenner Is Skipping Out on Fashion Month Runways Almost Entirely

Kendall Jenner kicked off New York Fashion Week this month by posing with Hailey Baldwin in tracksuits and heels at the Adidas presentation. That turned out to be her only appearance of the week. She's been a mainstay walking for Marc Jacobs, but she skipped that show and every show so far this month.  

So while fellow top models like Kaia Gerber and the Hadid sisters were doing their best Jackie-O impressions on the Moschino runway in Milan, Jenner was back in the states Instagramming herself pumping gas and snowboarding. "Time off," she wrote in the caption of her snowboarding vacation pic.  

Is there something behind Jenner's absence on the runway this month? She is the world's highest paid model after all. 

According to People's sources in a report delving into Jenner's current schedule, “there’s no real reason” behind it. “It’s nothing severe or serious," another source told the magazine, saying that Jenner needed a “little bit of a break” after last year's “nonstop” schedule. 

The model's opened up in the past about her anxiety, and she's one of the most private members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, so it's good that she takes some time to herself to recharge. After all, there's always next season!
