The Reason Behind Jax Taylor's Pre-Wedding Weight Loss Is So Jax

The Vanderpump Rules hubby-to-be shared the hilarious motivation behind his 30-pound weight loss.

Jax Taylor is getting ready to walk down the aisle with the woman of his dreams (all hail Brittany Cartwright!), and he's determined to get in shape for his big day. Sure, the Vanderpump Rules groom-to-be has a thing for Taco Bell and for candy corn, and just maybe enjoys the occasional cocktail at Tom Tom. But those indulgences haven't stopped him from shedding a whopping 30 pounds as part of his pre-wedding prep. 

Chatting with Us Weekly at the November 11 People's Choice Awards, Jax spilled the tea on his motivation. "When I look back in 20 years and I am fat, I can be like, ‘I was hot one day!’ to my kids,” Jax joked. 

He added that Brittany — who's lost 25 pounds for her own pre-wedding prep — has been a perfect workout buddy. The couple is doing "all kinds of stuff," Jax shared. "Trying to eat better, jumping around to different classes around Hollywood. Just trying to live a better life, a healthier life.”

Brittany added, "We’re ready to be the best us yet for the wedding. Like, I just want to be so happy, so healthy. It’s going to be the perfect day." We have a feeling she's right.
