Plus Size Model Diana Sirokai Makes a Bold Statement by Recreating Gigi Hadid’s Nude Ad

Have you ever seen a fabulous high fashion ad, and wondered what it would look like with someone of your own size? (I know I have, numerous times in fact.) If so, you’re not alone. A 21-year-old plus size model, Diana Sirokai, recently found herself asking this same question of Gigi Hadid’s nude Spring 2017 Stuart Weitzman ad and decided to take matters into her own hands.

The body positive activist teamed up with fashion photographer Karizza to recreate Hadid's popular shoe campaign, and shared the results in a side-by-side post on Instagram. In the image, Sirokai sits completely nude in a similar pose to Hadid's with her long wavy brunette strands tousled to the side — nailing the ad to a T. The only true difference between the two images are the models' boots. "I was just wondering how a Model My Size would look on this," she captioned the image. Um, how about drop dead gorge to answer your question, Diana.

This isn’t the first time Sirokai has recreated a popular celebrity photoshoot. The model frequently uses her Instagram account to promote body positive images. Last September, the Hungarian beauty also mimicked a photoshoot of Kim Kardashian West in a bathing suit on Instagram, writing "WE ARE BOTH WOMEN with DIFFERENT BODIES" under the image. Sirokai has also highlighted model and body positive activist Ashley Graham on her page as well.  

Not only are Sirokai’s photoshoot recreations stunning, but they also evoke the message that all women are beautiful no matter their size. Not to mention, the young model is also helping curvier women envision themselves in these high fashion ads such as Hadid’s, which is unfortunately still a rarity in the fashion industry.
