Kendall Jenner Is Not Remotely Ashamed to Have Acne, and We Are Here for That
A little blemish is no match for this top model.
Kendall Jenner made her Golden Globes debut on January 7. And (this will not come as a shock!) the model looked perfect from head-to-toe. In a couture gown designed by Giambattista Valli, Jenner admitted to feeling "like a princess" as she langorously posed for cameras on the red carpet.
The famous beauty wore black to show her solidarity for the Time's Up movement. But, the striking silhouette of the gown wasn't the only thing some Internet users felt moved to comment on.
Because she is, at the end of the day, a mortal, Jenner has blemishes pop up from time to time. (Shocking, we know.) At the Golden Globes — for those who were looking very closely — the Keeping Up With The Kardashians regular appeared to have a wee breakout.
Here's where it gets good, though. In a Hollywood-ending style twist, fans commented positively on the model's relatable skin situation. (There is hope!) One Twitter user praised Jenner for "strutting her acne while looking like a gorgeous star."
And, instead of being remotely offended by the comment, Jenner tweeted back with a heck-yeah kind of response. The gist of her comment? No blemish can come close to holding this babe back.
Jenner isn't the only one in her family who's refreshingly open about skincare concerns (or, as the case may be, skincare non-issues.) Big sister Kim has openly dealt with psoriasis for years, and never lets the dry-skin condition hold her back from wearing exactly what she wants to wear.
No one can say the Kar-Jenners aren't totally comfortable in their own skin.
