Jennifer Lawrence's Wardrobe Malfunction in a Recycled Dress Was the Most J.Law Thing Ever
It all happened at Amy Schumer's wedding.
Jennifer Lawrence is just like us: She digs into her closet and recycles a dress to wear for a friend's wedding. OK, so it was a pink Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini off the Spring 2018 runway, but still.
Lawrence wore the ladylike millenial pink gown with a high neckline and black buttons and a matching belt for The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment breakfast on Dec. 6, 2017. She must have really loved it, because she pulled it out again for BFF Amy Schumer's surprise wedding this week. Schumer married chef Chris Fischer on Tuesday, and Schumer reportedly invited everyone via text that Sunday, so maybe Lawrence didn't have time to go dress shopping.
Schumer posted the sweetest photo of two of them on her Instagram from the ceremony.

Wait, the dress looks a little bit different here than it does its first outing. In case you thought Lawrence was putting a beachy spin on it for the Malibu wedding, she's here to tell you that the unbuttoned look was not purposeful.
"Notice my shirt was accidentally undone the whole time," she explained to ET.
At least she could joke about it, in typical "relatable" J.Law fashion. "In every wedding photo all of my buttons were undone," she said. "It looks like I was like, 'Oh, you thought this was going to be about you?'"
