Did Meghan Markle’s Mom Give Us a Huge Hint About the Royal Wedding Dress?
This is a very interesting development for royal watchers ...
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding day is almost here (pop the champagne and get those fascinators ready)! While we know a few official details on the royal big day via Kensington Palace (like the flavor of buttercream cake), there's still a big question mark when it comes to who is designing Markle's dress.
Quite a few names popped up in the rumor mill, including Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton and Beyoncé-fave Inbal Dror. But now there are reports that suggest another British fashion house, with an interesting factoid behind the speculation. It all stems from a member of Markle's family, and it's NOT her dad (who's been bringing the drama recently).
Markle's mother Doria Ragland may have inadvertently provided a clue to the royal wedding dress designer when she arrived in London’s Heathrow Airport yesterday. Us Weekly reports that Ragland's luggage included a Burberry garment bag. Very interesting! There's no confirmation from the palace as to what Markle will wear on the big day, but she's worn Burberry in the past. At Kate Middleton's wedding, all the women in the Middleton family wore McQueen to walk down the aisle, so this could be a big hit to Markle's look.
All will be revealed in a few short days, but if your royal wedding watch party includes a friendly wedding dress wager, this is valuable info to know.
