Danielle Staub Chopped Off 12 Inches of Hair — See Her Kim Kardashian-Inspired Lob
It's a cut that was months in the making.
If you're looking for haircut inspo, The Real Housewives of New Jersey 's Danielle Staub might be enough to make you go for the big chop. The RHONJ pal just revealed a sleek lob on last night's episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and she can't stop talking about how much she loves her new hair: "#gorgeous #haircut," she posted on Instagram.
It took some convincing to get Danielle to cut 12 inches of her long hair, which is kind of her signature. “I’ve been talking to Danielle for a few months now about doing her hair, the one condition I threw out there was ‘I have to change your hair,’" her stylist Julius Michael told People.
This hair guru knows his way around dramatic Real Housewife cuts, though: he's the one who gave Tamra Judge her edgy bob. No wonder Danielle went for it. “At first she was on the fence, then immediately said ‘Okay honey, I completely trust you so do your thing, whatever you guys want to do go for it,’” he said.
There's still some Jersey in this lob though. Michael used hair extensions to add volume along with plenty of mousse, and glamazon Kim Kardashian West's lob served as a reference. The lob came at a good time too: Danielle's just about to film the RHONJ season 8 reunion. “Now I feel more empowered than ever,” she said. “I’m ready to stand up to those ladies!”
