These Are the 6 Hottest Nightclubs in the World Right Now
From NYC to Paris, the most popular nightclubs in the world are where you'll find celebs dropping major loot.
By Rachel Jones
So maybe you're not exactly in the position of, say, Jay-Z... who can ring up a $110,000 tab at the club like it's no big deal. But that doesn't mean you're not interested in at least partying like the other half for a night when you're on holiday in one of the world's most cosmopolitan — and affluent — cities. Try the baller life on for size — with a definite likelihood of spotting a celeb or two — at one of the hottest, most popular nightclubs in the world, with many concentrated in Europe, and right here stateside.
1. JuJu, London
If Prince Harry goes to JuJu, it must be a place to be. This Chelsea cocktail bar is not just a great place to see celebs — but also a place to score award-winning, hand-crafted cocktails. It's open to everyone, but you'll need to be on the list. And of course, sometimes it's closed for private events. (When in town, by the way, another popular celeb hang nearby is Chiltern Firehouse — with more of a bar versus club vibe.)
2. Boom Boom Room, New York
Boom Boom Room has been a popular party place for ages and hasn't changed with A-listers still coming to the rooftop of the Standard Hotel for their late-night drinks. Lady Gaga, Kate Hudson, and Neil Patrick Harris are regulars — and yes, this is where that famous fight went down in the elevator between Solange Knowles and Jay-Z. The club has a rooftop with amazing views and although it's not membership-only, the bouncers are tough — as you might expect — so dress your best.
And to file for your NYC must-hit list, the most popular clubs in town right now also include PH-D (where Tristan Thompson was just photographed maybe cheating on Khloe Kardashian), The Box, and 1 OAK (scroll down for more on the club's Vegas party scene).
3. L'Arc, Paris
L'Arc might ring a bell, because it's where Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian were out partying when their sister Kim was robbed at her hotel. This is the "It" place to party in Paris, and celebs like Rihanna, Taylor Hill, Kanye, and Leonardo DiCaprio have all been spotted hanging out here. L'Arc is open to everyone — at least nominally — and stays open until 5 a.m.
4. Catch L.A., Los Angeles
Catch is one of the hottest places to be seen in West Hollywood right now — and that's saying a lot. Top models like Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Miranda Kerr often hang out here alongside other Hollywood A-listers. It's the kind of place you can go for dinner and stay late having drinks until the real party starts. According to W magazine, "It would hard to go to Catch right now and not see at least one famous face."
5. 1 OAK, Las Vegas
The club 1 OAK has locations in New York City, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. But the Las Vegas location is a serious contender for biggies in the party town, often hosting buzzy concerts, shows, and drawing celebrity hosts... like Scott Disick. Located in the Mirage, the club bills it's like "getting a dose of N.Y.C. in Vegas" (though isn't the whole point of partying in Vegas that what happens there stays there, even if not so much in New York?). You might see Jessica Alba, Adam Levine, or Bruno Mars here. Other popular clubs in Las Vegas right now include Marquee, Drais, and Hakkasan — and others along the strip and beyond much too numerous to name.
6. LIV, Miami
There are many clubs in South Beach where you'll see celebrities, but the favorite among stars right now is LIV. With frequent celebrity performances, it often makes roundup lists of best nightclubs in the world. Celebs like Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Jamie Foxx all come here. (You'll also spot them after hours in Miami at Story and E11EVEN.)
