PSA: The Fidget Spinner Gloss Just Dropped and We're Losing Our Minds
The craze has crossed over into beauty.
The fidget spinner craze started off innocently enough. People used the toy to relax, told their friends, the movement steadily caught steam. Then, Kim Kardashian West entered the game, designing a gold spinner that's called "Daddy Money." But before we even had time to break down what that could possibly mean, the trend went ahead and did the unthinkable: it crossed over into beauty.
A new product called Glamspin is the result of a collaboration between Buzzfeed Product Labs and Taste Beauty. So, what makes this particular gadget so glam?
Apart from its candy-colored packaging, the tool has three built-in compacts that each hold a different flavor of lip gloss. So, while you casually spin, you can ponder the tough questions: do I feel more Peach Whirl, Strawberry Cyclone, or Grape Twist today?
As Teen Vogue pointed out, this isn't the first time spinners have made a cameo in the beauty world. Nail artist Natasha Lee has created a mani inspired by the toys.
And, beauty vlogger James Charles has used the product to contour his face.
Considering that people will buy $185 paperclips, this all sounds rather normal. And this fun multitasking gadget will only cost you $9.99.
