Good things come to those who wait, even for Victoria's Secret models. After six years of walking the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Brazilian-born VS Angel Lais Ribeiro scored the honor of wearing this year's stunning, jewel-covered Fantasy Bra.
Needless to say, she's pumped about it. “I never cried so much in my entire life — and I have a baby,” Lais told People.
This is no ordinary bra: jeweler Mouawad covered it with 600 carats of diamonds, yellow sapphires, and blue topaz in a process that took almost 350 hours. It’s valued at $2 million, which is a million dollars less than last year's Fantasy Bra but what's a million dollars here or there, right? Lais makes it look totally casual, in the best possible way.
The hype is building for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which happens on November 28. The show is going to be in Shanghai this year, and so far we know that Bella is in and Gigi is too (controversially) — and Kendall Jenner is out. While we might not get to wear the world's most expensive piece of lingerie, at least we can try to copy VS Angels Martha Hunt and Adriana Lima’s workout and healthy eating routines.
