Travis Scott Announces a New Fashion Collab Amid Kylie Jenner Pregnancy Rumors
The 25-year-old rapper is dipping his toes into the fashion industry.
It looks like there are a lot of new chapters on the horizon for Travis Scott. The 25-year-old rapper just announced his first major fashion collaboration — almost two weeks after rumors broke out that he and girlfriend Kylie Jenner are expecting their first child together. While Scott nor Jenner has yet to provide any commentary on the pregnacy rumors, the rapper is spilling all the deets behind his latest sartorial project.
Scott has teamed up with Austrailian clothing brand Ksubi for a limited-edition capsule collection. Ksubi has become widely popular amongst rappers and singers like The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky, which ultimately led to the brand's collaboration with Scott. "Certain brands cater to the culture,” Scott told Vogue in regards to the brand's popularity amongst rappers. "Sometimes clothes make it through generations of artists, and it’s just because the designer is designing to the time and the culture. That’s what I think is dope about brands [like Ksubi]: It’s dope when a brand can captivate what’s going on with kids — it’s not out of touch. With or without me."
Scott's 10-piece collection includes everything from graphic t-shirts with the rapper's signature eagle symbol to ripped denim designs inspired by his Texas upbringing. "This is what I want to slide out in, wear everyday, all day," he said about the limited-edition pieces.
The entire collection officially drops on October 12 at global.ksubi.com.
Could this be the first of many major announcements for Scott? We'll just have to wait and see.
