There Is A Reason Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Have Done Everything They Can To Hide Their Relationship

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx—rumored to have been dating for four years now—have finally been spotted holding hands, enjoying a day at the beach in Malibu together, looking very much like a couple, reports TMZ.
And there may be good reason they’ve been so mysterious about their relationship over the years. There are now claims Katie's ex-husband Tom Cruise had indeed included a clause in her 2012 divorce settlement banning her from publicly dating for five years.
Makes sense now as to why they’d go to such great lengths to avoid being seen together in public and why Jamie would repeatedly deny the two are in love.
But in Malibu on Monday, they enjoyed their PDA, splashing around in the water, and walking on the beach together for everyone to see.
The actress, 38, and the actor, 49, spent Labor Day weekend together at a pals’ oceanfront home. they were also spotted getting cozy on the beachfront patio together, laughing and looking happy. Before this past weekend, Jamie would call news of the two dating “fake news,” and insist they were just friends.
It was first rumored they were dating back in 2013, a year after Katie left Tom after six years of marriage.
Katie and Tom welcomed daughter Suri in 2006. While Tom doesn’t coparent as often as Katie does, it has been reported that Jamie and Suri have formed a close bond. The star was also once close to Tom, who he starred with in Collateral, but their friendship came to an end when he began dating Katie.
As for how they’ve continued to stump the public as to their status for the past four years, it’s been rumored that they meet at each other's homes, entering through the garage, and that Katie will wear wigs and hats to disguise herself if she is on her way to meet Jamie.
In March 2015, a photo surfaced showing the two stars sitting in a recording studio holding hands, and last year, a blurry one of them on an intimate date in a restaurant was also released.
