The First Kardashian Who Went Blonde Before Her Sisters Will Surprise You
By the time Kim took the plunge, one of her other sisters had been there, done that.
When Kris Jenner debuted her new, platinum 'do with an epic Instagram snap, her daugher Kim Kardashian West seemed to rib her with a caption that read "SWF." Our Instagram de-coding skills suggest that Kim was referring to the campy '90s flick Single White Female, and alleging that her mom was copying her by going blonde. But, Kim actually wasn't the first Kardashian sister to lighten her locks. And, nope, it wasn't Khloe, either — nor was it hair-color chameleon Kylie Jenner.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Kourtney Kardashian delivered a beauty bombshell. "I was the original sister with the blonde hair! I was blonde in high school for just like a month. I think I was in 11th grade or something,” Kourtney said. Whoa, she was way ahead of her time in terms of KarJenner trends!
The mom of three also reminded the magazine that she'd experimented with lighter hues during her pregnancy with daughter Penelope, who's now five.
So, can we expect Kourtney to return to her 11th-grade ways any time soon? Don't hold your breath. "I’m just a brown-haired girl,” the Kardashian sister told People. “It just suits me. I like my dark hair.” For the record, Kourtney, we think it suits you too!
