Lisa Rinna: Why I Joined 'RHOBH'
The newest Housewife reveals what intrigued her about the show.
Watch out, there's a new Housewife in town!
Lisa Rinna will make her big debut on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when the show kicks off its new season on Tuesday. And the former soap opera queen is dishing on why she wanted to join the series.
"That’s an interesting question," Lisa shared with the New York Post ahead of the show's highly-anticipated premiere. "I was looking for an adventure in life. I’m not afraid to try different things in my career, and it had presented itself, and I thought, ‘Really, why not?'"
Lisa, who is married to actor Harry Hamlin, added that it was an opportunity that she just couldn't turn down. "I'm just never one to say no," she said. "I probably should say no more, but I don’t because I just think so many things are so much fun. If you look back at all the different things I’ve been able to do, I think it’s been a blast."
While the fifth season has yet to debut, Lisa is ready to prove that she's not going to take anything from her fellow Housewives. "My feeling was, I’m going to come in and I’m not going to react, and I’m going to stay very grounded," she teased. "Then that just flies right out the window. Because guess what? I’m a human being. There you go."
She is only one of the new faces joining the show this season. She'll be joined by fellow soap opera veteran, Eileen Davidson. "Quite honestly, it sort of feels like being on a roller coaster," Lisa told The Dish earlier this month. "You know, some scary moments and then times I want to scream my head off, but overall that thrilling feeling of being on a wild adventure."
