The Best Looks From the 2016 CFDA Awards
Guess who wore pink bunny slippers?
So, Beyoncé wasn't the only thing that happened at last night's CFDA Awards. (In theory.) Glittering pinstripes aside, there was tons of fashion inspiration on the red carpet—not to mention, appearances from some of our favorite celebs. Here are the evening's most memorable looks, plus one very special pair of pink, glittery shoes.
Karlie Kloss, who recently became the face of Swarovski, looked fresh and summery in an asymmetrical dress by Rosie Assoulin. Better yet: the dress was dotted with rainbow crystals.
And Karlie's pink crystal shoes could not have been any cuter. Have a peek:
Okay, maybe Karlie's shoes could be cuter. Considering Lena Dunham stepped out on the red carpet in pink bunny slippers. (BRB: finding a quiet place to process this.) The Girls star also wore an eye-catching neckpiece by Irene Neuwirth. Her dress was by Creatures of the Wind. And yes, that's an "LD" on her clutch.
The Olsen Three—otherwise known as Mary-Kate, Elizabeth, and Ashley—looked striking and chic in The Row.
Naomi Campbell also wore all black. Her Brandon Maxwell dress had a plunging neckline and strategic cut-outs...but we're fixated on that magnificent braid.
Laverne Cox wore the dramatic Namibia Nude Gown from Marc Bower. (Kind of related: This is the same designer who did Whitney Houston's wedding dress, which is now up for auction.)
Boudoir-style dressing was big last night—just ask Lena. Model Emily Ratajowski rocked a long, silky, body-clinging dress by Jason Wu.
Lauren Conrad wore a similar kind of silky gown from her Lauren Conrad Runway Collection for Kohls. Also: black-red lips.
Can you handle the bling? Naeem Kahn designed this gold, '70s-inspired jumpsuit for Elsa Hosk.
This may be the sleekest J-Hud has ever looked. With slicked-back hair and a bright red lip as her only accessories, Jennifer wore a black-and-red dress by Prabal Gurung. The singer also performed a tribute to Prince.
Anna Wintour wore Gucci, along with her signature shades.
Actress and model Hari Nef also wore Gucci, doing justice to the label's new, madcap aesthetic.
Kirsten Dunst accompanied the sisters of Rodarte to the awards, and wore a bejeweled dress of their design. The free spirit also tucked an orchid into her hair.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked angelic (and sparkly!) in her Michael Kors gown. Let's face it: this look is perfection.
