Selena Gomez Has The Fiercest New Haircut

As rumors swirl that she has a brand new love interest (that'd be The Weekend), Selena Gomez got herself a brand new hairstyle to match. The singer—who's been all about the sexy poses on Instagram this week—just revealed a photo of newly shorn locks. Though she capped her princess-y Prada gown at the American Music Awards with a slick, long ponytail, Selena's back to the lob.

Stylist Marissa Marino posted a photo of the beauty looking sharp in a red sweater and a striking, layered cut. The pop star also wore a picture-pefect cat eye, courtesy of makeup artist Hung Vanngo, and had a pale manicure painted on by Tom Bachik.

Since Selena's entire glam squad was tagged in the smoldering snap, it seems like the team is up to something. But, we're not going to find out what that is today. Stylist Christian Classen wrote "shhhhh" next to his version of the photo, while Hung added the mysterious descriptor #secretproject. Perhaps this has something to do with Selena's new deal with Coach? Her red sweater in the post certainly looks like it could belong to the brand!

While we wait to see exactly what's up in Selena's world, can we agree that her shaggy new style looks a bit like the "faux bob" Emily Ratajkowski wore to the Golden Globes? So far, 2017's version of the lob is all about the layers and movement.
