But, Victoria's Secret model Irina Shayk managed to turn heads, and inspire headlines, with the yellow dress she wore for the screening of Radiance. The dress itself is a doozy, but it's also worth noting that this marked the model's first red-carpet appearance since having her daughter just two months ago.
Every Cannes Film Festival needs a yellow moment, and Amal Clooney held down the fort last year. But for the 2017 fest, it was Irina who showed the world what a little canary hue can do. The new mom, who's dating Bradley Cooper, wore a curve-clinging gown by Versace.
The dress had a plunging neckline and a stratospheric leg slit, and it glittered as Irina smiled for photographers. An 89-karat, canary-yellow diamond ring from Lorraine Schwartz capped off the look, and Irina wore her hair in sleek, side-swept curls.
Donatella Versace was clearly pleased with her work, and took to Instagram to give a shout-out to the hot mama. "Welcome back mamma Irina ! You look more beautiful than ever," the designer wrote.
Clearly, yellow is Irina's power color.
