Jackie Kennedy is legendary for her style, grace, and beauty. So whoever plays the former FLOTUS in a biopic had better be... Natalie Portman, basically. Casting directors were smart when they picked the 35-year-old actress to play the icon in the upcoming film Jackie.
Though Natalie and Jackie don't share a striking physical resemblance, we predict that Natalie's acting skills, and some good 1960s fashion, will get her into character. Speaking of pillbox hats, sleeveless shifts, and chartreuse column gowns, a teaser trailer just came out. Take a look at all those glorious, vintage duds below. Of course, Natalie's not the first actress to take on the challenging role. Katie Holmes played Jackie in a TV movie a few years ago, and—despite tepid reviwes—is primed to play the icon yet again in. Katie will play Jackie Onassis in the upcoming miniseries The Kennedys: After Camelot.
