Rihanna Just Showed Us All How to Pull Off Fur—In the Desert
Not everyone was a fan of her Wild Wild West look.
We've known for awhile that Rihanna has fashion superpowers (remember her crazy talent for walking over sidewalk grates while wearing pencil-thin stilettos?). She doesn't play by the same sartorial rules as the rest of us mortals, and now there's even more proof of that. Rihanna turned up at Christian Dior's cruise show on Friday in the remote wilds of Calabasas, California wearing a fur coat as a shirt. That's right, she wore a fur coat in the desert and didn't break a sweat. Here's her incredibly cool Wild Wild West-inspired look.
Rihanna needs to dress like a cowgirl all the time, bolero and all. But the fur coat is already sparking some backlash: PETA sent the pop singer a strongly worded letter asking her to donate her fur collection.
