Pinterest Says the Most Popular Nail Polish of 2017 (So Far!) Is...
Subtle nails are leading the charge this spring...and we couldn't be happier about that.
Pinterest recently released it’s spring stats and what stood out to us was the fact that searches for nude nails on the social platform are up 796 percent in 2017—Read: Nude nails are in, people!!—and Essie’s Topless and Barefoot is the most saved nail polish of the year.
One of Essie’s longtime fan favorites, T&B is the epitome of a perfect nude polish in that it nearly matches skin tone (albeit with just the right amount of pink in there), but is also opaque enough that it doesn’t reveal dirt under your nails or those pesky calcium deposits.
So, while yellow and millennial pink are dominating the fashion world this spring, and nail art and bright hues are leading the charge in the beauty world—a nude, sedate nail might just be want the people really want. Or, at the very least, it’s what they’re looking for on Pinterest this year...much to the delight of brides everywhere this spring.
