Leslie Jones Did What We're Too Terrified to Do at NYFW
She did not play it cool.
Every fashionista knows that being invited to sit front row at a fashion show is the highest honor. We’re talking fashion royalty status, pretty much. And while we're sure that everyone who receives this honor is beyond excited to get a close-up look at the latest designs, you'd probably never guess it by the photos.
Typically, all who sit front of house remain stoic and reaction-less keeping it cool for the cameras. But Leslie Jones just brought a whole new vibe to New York Fashion Week's prestigious front row.
The Saturday Night Live comedian, who recently celebrated her 50th birthday, sat front row at the Christian Siriano SS18 show Saturday. While Jones sat in a celeb-filled section, beside the likes of Gina Gershon and Orange Is The New Black stars Jackie Cruz and Danielle Brooks, it was Jones' amazing reactions that truly gave us LIFE.
As the models came down the runway in Siriano's size-inclusive show, she cheered, laughed, clapped, and did what everyone else probably secretly wanted to do as well. And when model Coco Rocha came down the cat walk, Jones absolutely lost it. "Coco! I love you, Coco!," she yelled drawing out a genuine smile from the supermodel.
Jones appeared mesmerized, enchanted, and just stunned.
And each fantastic reaction allowed us to live every moment along with her.
She couldn't even deal with Siriano's fab designs.
Jones is exactly what the fashion world needs. TBH, we think she needs to be sitting front row at every show.
We appreciate you Leslie.
