Tour merchandise. So hot right now. Just look at what happened when J-Biebs tried to sell t-shirts stating: “My Mama Don’t Like You.” Spoiler: Jaded New Yorkers actually formed lines around the block. So this Mother’s Day, the Kardashian sisters saluted their own mama in the most on-trend way.
On Sunday, Kylie Jenner posted a picture captioned “Happy Mothers Day.” With Kourtney on the left, and presumably two more sisters on the right (it’s tough to tell, with their heads cut off), the snap features a t-shirt that says “Kris” in the classic “Kiss” logo font. Under a graphic of Mama Jenner’s face in Kiss-inspired makeup, a caption reads: “The Momager Tour.” (Come to think of it, Kanye’s also put out statement-making fashion in honor of his mom. Mother love clearly runs in the family.)
Apart from a clever fashion statement in her honor, the Momager seems to have had a very good Mother’s Day indeed. Throughout the day, Kris took to Instagram to sweetly express love for her own mother, her kids, her grandkids, and even Scott Disick. Was that last part the mimosas talking? You decide.
But one thing’s for sure: that t-shirt needs to be mass marketed. Can you imagine the legions of hipsters, eager to get their hands on such "irony?" Also, North West, we're expecting big things from you for Mother's Day 2030.
