PICS: Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s Son Snuggles Puppy Just 1 Month After Traumatic Dog Bite
Kim wants to encourage Kash's love of animals.
About a month ago, Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s son Kash was hospitalized after sustaining serious injuries from a dog bite. The fiercely protective Don’t Be Tardy mama detailed the frightening incident on her Instagram: “The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare. My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I've never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life. Kash was in the operating room for a couple hours and now we are praying for a quick speedy recovery.”
Not only did Kash make a full recovery, but the harrowing experience didn't dampen his love of dogs whatsoever! Kim shared a photo of Kash snuggling a tiny dog from Bosley's Puppies (an Atlanta-based rescue orphanage for underage puppies), along with a very moving sentiment:
"Kroy and I felt it was super important to continue to encourage Kash to be around animals. Kash is an absolute animal lover and I didnt/don't want him to fear animals after all he has been through. (The 2nd day he was in the hospital their was a service dog visiting all the children and I asked Kash if he wanted to see the dog, "He screeched Yes" and was all snuggled up to the dog in less than a minute as if nothing ever happened!)"
Clearly, being an animal lover runs in the Zolciak-Biermann blood. Aside from their own already-impressive brood (remember Brielle's pig?!), Kim shared photos of Kroy and Kane snuggling the Bosley puppers as well.
We are so in love with the entire Zolciak-Biermann family's attitude toward animals. Although we don't know the full details of the dog bite incident, we do know that one bad experience should never undermine the ultimate love and joy that dogs (and all pets) can bring.
We applaud Kash for his resilience and bravery, and we commend Kim and Kroy for continuing to foster their kids' love of animals.
