Kim Zolciak-Biermann Had No Idea that Shereé Whitfield's Party Would "Be as Crazy as It Was"
The #DontBeTardy mom teases her confrontation with Kenya Moore on #RHOA.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann may not have been tardy to Shereé Whitfield's housewarming party, but she probably wasn't expecting tensions to escalate to the levels that they did. As fans saw in the teaser for Sunday's The Real Housewives of Atlanta finale, the Don't Be Tardy mom and Kenya Moore will have a dramatic face-off.
"I definitely am not naive to the fact that of the personalities of some of the ladies," Kim told The Daily Dish when asked whether she had known what to expect from the party. "So no, I didn’t. I didn’t really know how it was going to go because it’s been five years. I didn’t know. I certainly didn’t think that it was be as crazy as it was."
Not that it was all insults and shade being thrown at Chateau Shereé, but that aspect of the night certainly resonated with the RHOA alum. "It definitely reminded me of why I left in the first place. Why does it have to be so combative? It was really great to see a lot of the other ladies, aside from Kenya. I don’t even know Kenya to be honest," she said. "It was great to see the other ladies and kind of reconnect with them. Cynthia [Bailey] is so beautiful, so I always love to see her little face, And of course we were there for Shereé. Shereé and I have been friends from before Housewives and have stayed in contact throughout the years. That was nothing new."
At the end of the night, Kim was more than happy to be able to support her pal. And, while she and Shereé have certainly had their drama in the past, she revealed how they've been able to make it work all these years later.
"I just think Shereé and I have a mutual trust, believe it or not. We talk about a lot of things and I don’t say anything, and she doesn’t say anything. It’s just a mutual trust," she said. "I think in order to have a successful friendship, that’s super important. It’s hard to find these days. I think that’s why we have always been somewhat successful. Even at our moments of fighting and arguing, there’s no real low-blows, per say. There’s no, 'You told me this yesterday!' Some women start popping off at the mouth with things they know or knew. Everybody has somewhat of a past," Kim said. "I think that’s why we’ve been able to maintain our friendship. Some of our arguments in the past have been fueled by others. I don’t think it was because of Shereé and I."
