So, the caption was a little confusing. "Cash me outside howbow dah," Katy Perry wrote, under a photo of her new hairstyle. (We had to sound that one out.) But, the style is bold and in-your-face—and there's no doubt that KP is ready for a fresh new look. So, how about this?
The singer, who's been rocking blonde locks for a while, just achieved "platinum status." But, she didn't do it alone: Katy gave a big shout out to hair pros Justin Anderson, Melinda Miller-Rider, and Chris McMillan.
And Katy didn't stop at a new color. She also got an edgy undercut, which Chris said he's been wanting to give her since the day he met her. If you ask us, the whole look is very Miley Cyrus—and perhaps that's no coincidence.
Fun fact: Justin also works with the "Wrecking Ball" singer, and tends to the blonde tresses of other star clients like Kristin Cavallari and Gwyneth Paltrow. He also makes his own Cool Blonde Shampoo. Anyway, back to Katy's new 'do:
