Hold Up... Kim Kardashian's Bahamas Birthday Vacation for Kanye West Cost HOW Much?!
It's going to take a lot of cash if you want to keep up with this.
Happy big 4-0, Kanye West!
Today is the star's milestone birthday, and we already know Kim Kardashian planned an over-the-top party in the Bahamas to celebrate, flying a whole squad out to the island to fete her hubby.
But just how much did all that festivity cost? Of course, it would be hard to know exactly, and the famous family frequently scores great travel perks for free (as do plenty of other celebrities).
But, let's take a stab at adding it all up. According to E! News, the fam spent four full days at Baker's Bay Golf and Ocean Club near Great Guana Cay, where they reportedly rented a villa home on the grounds. In order to stay on the property, a group must be invited by a member or resident. But that's just logistics: When it comes to dollars and cents, the most high-end lodgings on the island can go for as much as $44,000 a night — so add up that portion alone, and you get to $176,000... just for the place to lay their pretty heads.
First, they had to get on the island — and they flew private. Remember Kim's sweet pic with her kids on the plane?
Specifically, the family used four private planes to transport their entire entourage, according to the E! report, which notes that four roundtrip flights between Los Angeles and Marsh Harbour in the Abaco Islands would cost about $264,000. And then toss in a little spare change — about $190 — for a charter boat to Baker's Bay.
Of course, the family would want to have a little fun — possibly to the tune of renting jet skis for about $120 per person an hour.
And let's not forget all the Casamigos tequila they tossed back; for mere mortals who buy it on their own, a case of six bottles rings in at about $350.
Keeping count at home? If you want to keep up with the Kardashians on a vacation like Kanye's birthday bash — and you're not in the position to score stuff for free — you're going to be shelling out at least $440,000. Or round that up to a cool half-million dollars with a little shopping and some extras.
