Here's What Hailey Baldwin Thinks of Gigi Hadid's Tommy Hilfiger Collection
The #RHOBH daughter presented her first fashion collection tonight.
As Gigi Hadid presented her Tommy x Gigi collection this evening, New York Fashion Week heated up—literally. "I feel like a popsicle right now; I'm melting," joked Gigi's pal Hailey Baldwin backstage. Though it was, um, just a bit warm, Hailey was still excited to try on the preppy, spiffy, nautical looks from her friend's collection.
"Gigi has really cool style to begin with," Hailey told Lookbook. "She brings a different aspect to the collection. It's cool to see your friends doing things like that—I'm really proud of her. I think the collection's really dope." Hailey's keen to design her own collection someday, but would first want to be sure she lands a perfectly organic partnership—just like her pal Gigi. "With Gigi and Tommy it's perfect fit, and makes a lot of sense," she said.
Also backstage, Zoya nail artist Kylie Kwok was putting the finishing touches on the models' "beach-babe-inspired" nails. The low-maintenance manis had no color, and were created using just matte-finish top coat with a naked base; she used a cuticle repair balm to make sure that the ladies' nails looked extra clean, fresh, and dewy.
Then, it was show time! Models—including Lisa Rinna's gorgeous daughter Delilah Belle—walked down a whimsical, boardwalk-style runway flanked with a lit-up ferris wheel and concession stands.
Gigi strutted out in leather moto pants the line's "cotton band jacket."
Another look paired silky basketball shorts with a casual, oversize sweater.
Stars like Taylor Swift, Martha Hunt, Lewis Hamilton, and—of course—#proudmommy Yolanda Hadid shimmied along to the music in the front row.
Lisa Rinna and hubby Harry also came out to support their model daughter, and had the best time hanging out in New York all weeekend.
And, in case you're wondering, yes! You can shop these styles right now. Pretty dope, right? -With additional reporting by Jocelyn Vena
