7 Skincare Tips to Prep Your Skin For Summer

Just when we were losing it over highly pigmented glitter lipsticks, we caught wind of this: Glossier, the beauty brand beloved by cool kids everywhere, just released an updated version of its famous Balm Dotcom. And this isn't just any old upgrade. Nope. The new version of the cult skin salve tastes like birthday cake. We'll give you a moment to pick yourself up off the floor.

Birthday Balm Dotcom was inspired by the signature birthday cake at Momofuku Milk Bar. As such, the balm tastes like vanilla rainbows. And—because this stuff is magic—it also has a subtle, holographic shimmer to it. It just became avaialable on Glossier's website; you can also pick it up at the brand's New York showroom.

The folks at InStyle got their hands on a preview of the product, and reported back with tantalizing details. "It does taste and smell like Milk Bar's Birthday Cake, and has the subtlest amount of shimmer," the beauty team reported. And, since the salve works on all areas of the body, the InStyle editors used the sweet stuff on their lips, eyelids, and over their highlighter.

We can't wait to get our hands on this holographic desert. And, on the topic of makeup inspired by calorie-rich things, have you noticed the Instagram trend of "Ice Cream Makeup?" We'll leave you with a special visual treat:

How's that for dessert?
