Get Psyched! Kendall Jenner Just Announced a New Collaboration for Fall
The model has a sparkling project up her sleeve.
This summer, Kendall Jenner isn't just slaying the bikini game. The model—who's partnered with her little sis Kylie to design clothing, sunglasses, and swimsuits—is about to try her hand at something new. And that something can dangle from your wrists, neck, and ears. Any guesses?
That's right: a Kendall Jenner jewelry collaboration is in the works. (Hope we didn't leave you in suspense for too long, there!) According to W Magazine, designer Ippolita Rostango tapped the stunner to lend her creative sensibility to some 80 new pieces.
The baubles will fall into what's considered a more accessible price range, costing between $195 and $55,000. (Hey, we'll take the $195.) The line will center on a classic Ippolita design: The Cherish necklace, which features oversize links. Apart from that, we don't have too much insight into the form the collection will take—but, we do have some intel on the images that will accompany it.
In addition to helping to offering ceative input on the new collection, Kendall will be the its face. And, here's the twist: one of the campaign images will be captured by photographer Ryan McGinley, while the other will be a self-portrait of Kendall. "This is a very selfie-obsessed culture," Ippolita explained to W of the artistic direction for the campaign, which launches this fall.
This isn't the first time Kendall has proved her prowess as a shutterbug. Last year, she photographed fellow It-girl Kaia Gerber for Love Magazine. And, this isn't the first time Ippolita has put out a campaign centered on an undeniable cool girl. The brand's most recent images featured French-American model Camille Rowe. Sounds like Ippolita has hit on something that works!
