FYI: Miranda Kerr Filters All Her Beauty Products Through a Special Crystal
So, this is why she's always glowing.
Lately, it seems like the beauty world has become obsessed with crystals. So far, we’ve seen everything from crystal-inspired cosmetics to crystal spa treatments. But even before all the hype, supermodel Miranda Kerr has long believed in the power of crystals.
In a recent interview with The Cut, Kerr shared that crystals have played a major role in her life since she she was a young girl. Kerr’s love of crystals stemmed from her grandfather who used to find big geodes and gift them to her grandmother. “He ended up bringing her so many that in the back of their house, they had this weeping willow tree and at the base was a collection of crystals that he had gotten for her. I used to climb that tree every day when I was a child and thought, they’re magic. It was without even knowing that different crystals had different energies. I was just drawn to them,” she said.
In fact, they are such an important part of Kerr’s life, that she has even incorporated her favorite crystal into her beauty line, Kora Organics. When asked if she filters her beauty products through crystals, Kerr replied, “True. It’s filtered through rose quartz, which is my all-time favorite crystal. I really notice the difference when I’m holding it.” Not only does Kerr use the crystal on her beauty products, but she always keeps one nearby to for its healing powers and as a reminder to "always come from love."
“I have a small heart-shaped one I put in my bra. It’s known to encourage love (like self-love) in your life and open the heart chakra. It’s supposed to have healing and protecting powers. We have a filtration system set up, and the rose quartz is energized, cleansed, and put back into filter once again,” she said.
Her new beauty line also infuses rose quartz energized water into many of their products in addition to her favorite beauty secret noni berry.
