Eva Longoria Had a Surprisingly Comfortable Bridal Style

As you may have heard, the lovely Eva Longoria wed José Bastón in Mexico on Saturday. Granted, we can't all have guests as stylish as Victoria Beckham. But whether you're doing bridesmaid duty or walking down the aisle yourself, Longoria left us all with great style inspiration for summer weddings. (And, we get to pore over her star-studded Instagram snaps. There are worse things.) Here are a few tips we picked up from Eva's big day.
1. Go Ahead, Let Your Hair Down
Longoria spent the morning with her stylist Ken Paves, who gave the actress a side part that was partially tied back with a glittering barette. The rest of her loose curls stayed down.
2. Choose Platform Soles
Eva said that her kicks, designed by Brian Atwood, were "the most beautiful and comfortable wedding shoes."
3. Go For a Sweetheart Neckline
Oh, did you want to see the dress? It was, of course, designed by Eva's good friend Victoria Beckham. (Yep, that's her on the right!)
4. Black is Perfectly Fine For a Summer Wedding
Listen, as a wedding guest, you can wear any shade. Except white. Black looks perfectly chic even on the beach, as demonstrated aptly by VB.
5. Don't Forget Your
All brides hope their guests dance so much, their feet hurt the next day. (And if you're traveling to a destination wedding, you'd better hope it's fun.) Take the necessary precautions, whether you're a guest or the bride.

The newlyweds headed off on their honeymoon in matching PJs. Its just too adorable.
