Cindy Crawford is Just as Obsessed With This '90s Fashion Moment As You Are
Plus, she dished on the trend she'd never, ever wear.
As a true runway icon, Cindy Crawford has walked in some of the most memorable shows in fashion history. And while we imagine it would be almost impossible to pick a favorite, the model recently shared her all-time favorite moment. And of course it’s a ‘90s classic.
In the latest installment of Vogue’s “73 Questions,” the 51-year-old was asked, “what was your most memorable runway show?” To which she then replied, “Versace in ‘91, when all of us came down the runway lip singing to George Michael Freedom.” And yep—she still remembers all of the lyrics! Just in case you don’t remember this iconic fashion moment, let us refresh your memory below.
Cindy was joined by fashion legends Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington, making this one of the most unforgettable runway shows of all time. (A GOAT, if you will.)
In addition taking a walk down memory lane, Cindy—who describes her style as “California Casual”—also revealed that she would never in a million years wear a crop top! Instead, the mother of two listed “jeans and a white shirt” as her go-to look.
15-year-old Kaia Gerber, “the new model everyone should be following,” as stated by proud momma Cindy, also made several brief cameos in the video. We still get shook at how much these two look alike.
As the new face of Marc Jacobs beauty, it looks like Kaia is well on her way to making a few of her own iconic fashion moments as well.
Like mother, like daughter!
