I Swear This Is the Only Shade of Lipstick We Should All Be Wearing This Spring

As I’ve told y’all in the past, I’m not really a lipstick girl. I love me a tinted lip balm, and I upgrade to glosses for a BNO. (Big. Night. Out.) So, when a new spring shade of lipstick landed in my sample bin a few weeks ago, I ignored it. Because, you know, my grandma wears lipstick. And my fifth-grade teacher wore lipstick. But not me.

And then in between making dinner and preparing my kids’ bath the other night, on a whim I unwrapped the box, twisted the tube open and applied. And then I bathed those darn kids and cleaned up the kitchen and was about to crash on the couch when I caught my reflection in the mirror—and I was the picture of spring, with the most perfect lip shade I’ve ever seen on myself.
