Alton Brown Adopts Adorable Little Kitten, Names Him "Stir-Fry," Heads Explode With Cuteness Overload

Alton Brown has a new love in his life—someone who adores cooking, reading, and squid as much as he does. Someone who also appreciates fine Asian cuisine and isn't afraid to get up close and personal with the camera.

Meet Stir-fry, the latest addition to the Brown family.

“Remember those kittens we found at the office? Apparently I’ve been claimed," says a photo on Brown's Instagram account, showing some too-cute-for-words pics of the pair posing for the camera.

The tiny stray black-and-white kitten was discovered with his siblings under Brown's office porch a few weeks ago, and it looks like Stir-fry managed to kung-fu his way into Brown's heart—and kitchen.

Brown named him Stir-fry based on his love of woks.

Brown's daughter Zoey was clearly excited about the new addition, sketching a "Welcome Stirfry" drawing showing the kitty peeking out of a takeout carton and lounging with chopsticks.

And Stir-fry seems to be fitting right in. He wasn't shy about trying to take down a squid—perhaps he was hungry and looking for some dinner? We hear Brown has some pretty tasty squid recipes.

Looks like Nacho Flay might have some stiff competition in the most adorable chef kitty department. Our only question: when is Stir-fry getting his own Instagram account?
