My Favorite ‘90s Singer is Officially Getting Her Own Makeup Line
It will be a "One in a Million" collection.
Growing up in the ‘90s truly was the best experience, for many reasons. In addition to the classic fashion trends that have made a major comeback, this era bred some of my all-time favorite singers, including the legends Selena and Aaliyah. Two beautifully talented souls taken way too soon.
In addition to their musical talents, these ladies each had a style all their own, which continues to inspire women everywhere. In fact, their styles have impacted women so much that 20 years later fans have petitioned for each of them to get their own makeup line. In 2016, the widely successful Selena x M.A.C collection was released, drawing endless lines of fans trying to get their hands on these limited edition products. And now, I am beyond excited to learn that the Aaliyah x M.A.C collection is officially happening as well!
Soon after news of the Selena x M.A.C collection got out, Aaliyah fans also started a petition for a M.A.C line inspired by the ‘90s singer/actress. And over 26,000 signatures later, it is finally here. The beauty giant recently announced that the Aaliyah x M.A.C collection will be officially launching in summer 2018.
No further info on the line has bene released, but we're expecting to see plenty of neutral brown hues (no one could work a '90s brown lip like Aaliyah), probably a nude gloss, and a mix of shadows. Aaliyah did love her a smoky eye.
And I have the feeling a "One in a Million" lipstick may soon be on the way as well. Now, that would be everything.
