Back in the day, going to the salon to get a manicure was a total treat, something I looked forward to and considered the ultimate way to pamper myself. But today? Well, getting my nails done has become something of a chore. There’s usually a wait, I have trouble sitting still, and I’ve smudged or chipped a nail before I’ve even pulled out of the parking lot. Also, now I have kids, so I am usually paying someone to watch them…while I get a manicure. Which is hard to justify, as I’m sure y’all can relate.

So, who’s with me when I say that it’s time for the at-home manicure to make a comeback? Gone is the stress of getting to the salon only to have 15 people waiting in front of you.
