Lindsay Lohan Wants to Design an Island in Dubai... So Let's Unpack That
She says she'll get to it after "the lipstick."
No one can accuse Lindsay Lohan of being an unadventurous traveler. The woman of many accents has hiked in Thailand, boated in Turkey, and — despite enduring snake bites and torn-off fingers along the way — still has a fierce passion for travel. In fact, the actress' love of Dubai is so strong that she plans to design her own island there!
Chatting with Wendy Williams on the January 12 broadcast of the Wendy Williams Show, the Mean Girls actress revealed her big, palm-tree-dotted plans. “I’m discussing designing an island in Dubai,” Lohan casually mentioned. “I have a lot of little projects there because I like to keep busy. So, when I’m finished filming [TV show] Sick Note I can go back to Dubai, start the lipstick, discuss that and then design this island — Lohan Island.”
Let's unpack this, shall we? First, "the lipstick" presumably refers to a beauty product the actress is developing. (Check back with us on that one, but we figure it's an educated guess.) As for Lohan Island, those two words have given us chills — and the hope for something huge.
Here's how Lohan sees it: She already has the LOHAN nightclub in Athens, and will soon open Lohan Nightclub in Mykonos. So, why stop there? Joking about using her name on so many international properties, the actress said: "I'm out-Trumping [Donald] Trump with the name Lohan!” So, does this mean we can expect an island that's drenched in gold fixtures? One can only dream.
And in the meantime, step aside Dollywood... Lohan Island is coming for you.
