Ariana Madix Thanks Lala Kent for Helping Her "Talk About the Darkest Parts of Myself"
"It’s not easy to be completely vulnerable on national television," the SURver shared.
Ariana Madix did not hold back on Monday's Vanderpump Rules when she confessed to Lala Kent that she was once in a "mentally and emotionally abusive relationship" that has affected her self-esteem and caused intimacy issues. She opened up about how that has changed the way she views sex and admitted to not feeling comfortable having sex with longtime partner Tom Sandoval because of it (more from Ariana on that in the clip above).
In the wake of the very candid confession, Ariana headed to Twitter to thank Lala for being there for her. "It’s not easy to be completely vulnerable on national television and talk about the darkest parts of myself, but I’m so grateful for friends like @lala_kent. My struggle isn’t over," she wrote. "Thank you guys for sharing your stories and for being so kind."
Following her admission, Lala was quick to show support for her pal during the episode, telling her, "Well I think you're perfect ... I think you're perfection." And Ariana was definitely getting support from folks who tuned into the episode and appreciated her honesty.
And Lala was also there for her.
