The Real Housewives of Potomac alum revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on April 15 that she would be expecting her first — and husband, Chris Bassett's fourth — child. Candiace could not be any more excited about this, especially since she revealed on RHOP that she and Chris had been trying to conceive through IVF.

Now that her big news is public, Candiace is now sharing when it comes to her pregnancy, adding that she has entered her second trimester, and she isn't holding back on Instagram in a post she captioned: "Bumpdate [bump update] and kiki!"

Candiace Dillard Bassett explains her pregnancy symptoms

Candiace took to Instagram Live on April 22 (she later posted it in feed), where she filmed herself sitting in her car, munching on an apple, talking about her pregnancy symptoms. The first-time mom noted that she has felt very sick since entering her second trimester.

She added that in her first trimester she "wasn't really sick, I really didn't have any side effects. I just knew I was pregnant, and that was really it," she explained. "I may have had a touch of nausea here and there. Then all of a sudden I crossed into second trimester and it was like, 'haha bitch, jokes on you, you're about to have some symptoms — here."

Candiace highlighted her struggle with feeling nauseous without having morning sickness. "So I'll eat, not wanting to eat, but knowing if I don't eat I'm about to be laid up," she said. "And then 30 minutes later it's like, that wasn't enough, we're nauseous again. And then a lot of days I don't want to eat so I have to. So I went from loving food, enjoying food — and sometimes I still do, but a lot of days, I don't want to, but I have to."

She also noted how exhausted she has been, not only from growing a human, but from having to read every nutrition label. "I'm tired. I'm like, tired," she said. "And I was told 'Oh, second trimester, you're going to get all this energy.' Um, where is it? Where is the energy? I was horizontal for two days I could not move. And then that's the other thing — you can't eat anything. What can I eat? Everything is like — mmmm that's going to give the baby three toes," she joked

Candiace Dillard Basset on the advice she's gotten while pregnant

Candiace thanked her followers during her livestream for their well wishes following her announcement. However, she did note that she has already gotten advice on how to raise her child.

"Everywhere I go now, I am subjected to unsolicited, wonderful, but unsolicited advice from the aunties in the grocery store, at the country club — everywhere," she explained. "And it is so funny to me."

But, she expressed her gratitude for her followers and revealed the thing that she is most excited about when it comes to motherhood. "Thank you everyone for your well wishes and for just loving on me and us, all of us. It's been crazy," she said.

"I've realized — number one — the thing I'm most excited about is the mom village," Candiace explained. "And [that] mom village — all moms, from every age, every walk of life, but specifically millennial moms — I've just admired watching my friends who are moms, mother and parent, and thrive. I think that we are consciously doing things differently than our parents and we are loud and proud about that and very intentional and so I resonate with that and I am very excited to be in that club."
