The RHOBH couple announced that they made a "difficult decision" to split on May 9.
Amid Dorit Kemsley and Paul "PK" Kemsley's separation, their close friend, Mauricio Umansky, is weighing in.
In case you missed it, the spouses of more than nine years announced that they were taking time apart on Instagram on May 9. After The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared the news on her feed, Mauricio showed his support by liking the post.
Mauricio can relate to the pair's recent struggles, as he himself is navigating his own breakup from diamond holder Kyle Richards.
Kyle, Dorit, Mauricio, and PK spent a lot of time together as couples before the two pairs began seeing cracks in their respective marriages. Mauricio and PK have remained close (they attended a dinner with a few other friends in April 2024), while Kyle and Dorit's friendship hit troubled waters on RHOBH Season 13 when the latter cast member asked questions about Kyle's marriage.

On May 9, Dorit and PK took to their respective Instagram pages to share a statement about a shift in their marital status.
"We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage," the twosome wrote in an Instagram Story statement. "We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together."
The couple has not publicly mentioned any sort of divorce at the moment, but they have asked fans for their "love and support."
“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey. With love, Dorit and PK," the statement concluded.
PK and Dorit wed at the Rainbow Room in New York City on March 7, 2015. The couple shares a son, Jagger, and a daughter, Phoenix, together, while PK has three children from his previous marriage.
