Ariana Details Her Surprising Off-Camera Encounter with Tom After That Explosive Finale

"Apparently, he didn't need to say anything that bad," Ariana Madix said while describing a post-season moment with Tom Sandoval.

On the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 finale, Tom Sandoval attempted to apologize to Ariana Madix on camera, leading Ariana to leave the cast event. The cast members then broke the fourth wall, weighing in with their own opinions about whether Ariana should be expected to film with Tom after their tumultuous split.

Tom Sandoval explains why he tried to talk to Ariana Madix during the Vanderpump Rules finale

"I thought maybe we could have more of a less fueled, like, shell-shocked conversation," Tom says in the video above.

As he struggles to verbalize the rest of his thoughts, Jax Taylor suggests Tom may have wanted to ask, "How can we move past this? What can I do to move past this? How can I make your life easier?"

Ariana Madix reveals what happened with Tom Sandoval after filming the Season 11 finale

Although some of Ariana's castmates criticized her for not filming with Tom as he tried to apologize, Ariana explains in the video above that shortly after the incident, Tom had an opportunity to speak to her and didn't do so.

"You know what's funny is after the San Francisco trip, I came back to the house, and I went in the kitchen to get mail or get something, and it's rare that we cross paths at all in the house, but at that point in time, he was laying on the sofa where the TV is by the kitchen, and I was by the kitchen," Ariana shares. "Apparently, he didn't need to say anything that bad because he could have literally right then, or he could have written a letter and left it on the counter."

"He clearly knows how to email me nonsensical letters of intent ... you know what I'm saying?" she continues. "There's so many different ways to try and say something that's so important to be said. But no, for him, it needed to be said on camera because it needed to be in the zeitgeist or in the collective conscience of people watching the show. It actually had nothing to do with me."

Ariana Madix on if she will ever forgive Tom Sandoval

Ariana is asked if she would ever forgive Tom, and it seems that door is closed.

"I don't have any desire for that," she says. "Or real purpose for that."

However, Tom remains optimistic the two will have a conversation, explaining, "At this point, I'd like to talk to her."
